What do I need to send for a masonry estimate?
Plans, elevations, wall sections, structural masonry schedules and notes, the masonry specification sections and all addenda. A priced estimate also needs the labor, material and equipment rates you approve.
How are openings handled in wall areas?
Openings are deducted by the rule you set, such as deducting only openings above a certain size. The rule is written into the assumptions.
Do you count units or just measure wall area?
Both. Wall area is measured by unit type, and unit counts are derived from the unit sizes shown, so your team can price by area or by unit.
