What do I need to send for a concrete estimate?
Structural plans, sections, schedules and general notes, the concrete specification sections, architectural plans for slab details and all addenda. A priced estimate also needs your material, labor, pumping and equipment rates.
Is reinforcing steel included?
Yes, when the plans show enough to measure it. Bar weights are listed by size, and lap and waste assumptions are stated so your team can adjust them.
Are waste factors built into the concrete volume?
No. Measured volume and your waste factor are shown separately, so you can see both the net and the priced quantity.
